Stanford Admits 9.5 Percent

Stanford received 25,298 applications this year.  2,400 applicants were admitted, for an admit rate of 9.5 percent this year, compared to 10.3 percent last year.  6 percent of the applicants were waitlisted.

8.1 percent of the admits are international.

Stanford accepted approximately 8 percent regular decision, 16.2 percent early action.

Stanford accepted 738 applicants early out of a pool of 4,551 applicants.
