Stanford admitted 2,412 out of an applicant pool of 20,194. 1,545 applicants were admitted though Regular Decision. 867 applicants were admitted though Early Action. The acceptance rate of under 12% was the lowest in Stanford's history.

Over 90 percent of the admits were ranked within the top 10 percent of their high school class, and 80 percent had a grade point average of 4.0 or higher.
