Admit Rate at 19.1 Percent

Cornell received 34,381 applications this year.  6,567 applicants, or 19.1 percent, were admitted, compared to last years 20.4 percent.  1,249 early applicants were admitted, for an early admit rate of 36.68 percent.  5,318 regular applicants were admitted, for a regular admit rate of 17.2 percent. 

3,311 applicants were waitlisted.
