Harvard Admits Record Low 6.2 Percent
Harvard received 34,950 applications this year. 2,158 students were accepted, or 6.2 percent. Last year, 6.9 percent were admitted.
17.8 percent of the accepted class is Asian American, 11.8 percent is African American, 12.1 percent is Latino, 1.9 percent is Native American, and 0.2 percent is Native Hawaiian.
Penn
Penn Admits 12.3 Percent
Penn received 31,659 applications this year. 3,880 students were accepted, or 12.3 percent. Last year, 3,830 students out of 26,938 applicants were accepted, or 14.2 percent.
9.5 percent of regular decision applicants were admitted, down from 11.4 percent last year.

Cornell received 36,392 applications this year. The 5,306 students who were admitted regular decision and the 1,228 students who were admitted early comprise a total of 6,534 accepted students. 2,988 applicants were waitlisted.
Columbia
Columbia Admits 6.9 Percent
Columbia College admitted 6.4 percent of its applicants, while the School of Engineering and Applied Science admitted 9.9 percent of its applicants. The combined admit rate was 6.9 percent, compared to 9.2 percent last year.
Brown
Brown Admits 8.7 Percent
Brown received 30,946 applications this year. 2,692 students were accepted, or 8.7 percent. Brown expects 1,485 students to matriculate, including the 577 students who were admitted early decision.
